Join us at Amen Clinics Scottsdale for an educational evening featuring a live SPECT scan demonstration and analysis, a clinic tour, and a presentation with Dr. Mark Anderson. Discover how brain SPECT imaging can contribute to a broader understanding of brain function and support more individualized approaches to mental health care.
During this special event, Terrina Piccarrello, a brain-based therapist, will undergo a SPECT scan, with a live review of the resulting images. Terrina approaches treatment by first considering brain-system function as a baseline for developing a treatment plan. Her work incorporates brain health coaching and mental health nutrition.
Dr. Mark Anderson will discuss how SPECT imaging data can inform clinical decision-making and help providers explore potential contributing factors to mental health concerns. Attendees will also have an opportunity to see the imaging process, learn about the quality of the resulting images, and explore how brain-based insights may complement a comprehensive treatment approach.

Dr. Anderson is a psychiatrist whose professional interests include integrative psychiatry, child and adolescent mental health, family dynamics, anxiety, sleep disorders, and public mental health education. He completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona/Banner Health in 2021 and his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship through Creighton University School of Medicine/Valleywise Healthcare in 2023.
He is passionate about applying scientific advances in genetics and neuroimaging to improve mental health care, while considering the roles of psychotherapy, nutrition, lifestyle, and other individualized interventions
